   Great vibe and great range of menu options though if visiting The Grounds in the lead up to Christmas be prepared and allow ample time prior to your booking - parking was hard to find with the carpark full and limited parking available in walking distance.

   Food was small portions. Kids meals $14 and tiny - they were still starving. Husband’s beef, cheese & jalapeno sandwich was missing the jalapenos. One of the main ingredients. Bad smoky, cooking smell from the kitchen that was irritating my eyes and we all stank when we left. Waitress was lovely- Very average experience overall

   Took some time for them to take order. Was too loud that the waiter didnt hear everything so some miscommunication. Others who arrived and ordered after us received meals and drinks before.

   The service was amazing and the food delicious! The sugarplum set up was stunning. Lived every minute of our experience

   Terrible slow service Many things on menu sold out Food came out for 3 out of 4 people had to ask for fourth meal over and over Table was not cleared when we asked for coffee was told too late only take away.. will not be returning!!!

   Hi Pauline, Sorry to hear we missed the mark on this visit. It sounds like you visited shortly before our closing time - this explains why a few of the food menu items were sold out. We do a last coffee order check before we close our dine in area to prevent people from missing their coffee's after they've eaten so sorry if this was missed for you. I will pass your feedback on regarding your meals not coming together and please accept my apologies for this experience.    Even though it was extremely Busy especially for a Monday , I was told The food in the grounds cafe was beautiful and also the service. They were working under pressure as well. Credit to your Staff

   It was a fun experience. We go every year to celebrate a Christmas breakfast with friends. It's been 7 years and we love going.

   This was our second visit to The Grounds of Alexandria Cafe and we had a pleasant experience with the ambience, food and service with received. For the food pricing I would say the menu prices are reasonable especially being a cafe around Alexandria.

   Saturday lunch - ordered an alcoholic beverage only to be told they have ‘run out’. Subsequently ordered a sparkling water, to which I was asked “500mL or 250mL?” I asked for the 250mL. They were also out of that, so I had to have the 500mL. One of our party ordered the key lime pie for sweets. They had run out. The women’s toilets were an atrocious, vile & disgusting mess. Toilet paper was strung over the top of the divider between the only two toilets. Soggy toilet paper was all over the floor. After a near 5 minute wait to get into only of these filthy cubicles …… there was no soap. Staff were lovely though. Food was nice.
