    We made a reservation and were placed first on a waiting list. When we arrived at the restaurant, the lights were off and the place closed. Tried calling, but got no answer.

    Prawn starter over cooked. Pork belly starter dry and small. Fish main scallops were nice but monkfish again over cooked. Fillet beef was good. Service excellent.

    A reservation is needed. Our dinners were very good. Cod, scallops and steaks all prepared well. Seafood chowder was very good as was the crab gratin Service seemed rushed at first but once we ordered things slowed down. Our wine was a delicious French Sauvignon blanc was delightful! All around one of our best meals in Ireland or Scotland.

    Wow! Stated with the blue cheese Filo pastry  with compote. It was absolutely delicious. My husband had the cod and loved it. I had the lobster and the pear dessert with chocolate ganache was out of this world. We’ve been in Ireland for over a week and this is one of the best meals we’ve had.

    small, intimate restaurant, tastefully decorated, food was excellent, especially the fish chowder. As others have noted, the service is not strong. Our table for an 8:00pm reservation was not ready until 8:15, no waiter appeared for a number of minutes, so I contacted a staff member and asked if he could take our wine order. But the food was excellent. Unfortunately, we were seated next to a group of 8 noisy diners seemingly unaware anyone else was eating there that night, but that's not the restaurant's fault. Overall, attractive atmosphere, excellent food, but service not as good as other restaurants we ate at in Ireland. Worth eating there, however.
