The HC Tavern + Kitchen is a family-friendly, classic American grill located at Fishers District in Fishers, IN. Just posted on yelp. Do not mind to post the same thing here again. My kids’ favorite restaurant. Excellent food, service and environment. We were seated at the same table for the past 4 times! Nothing wrong with it at all, but we probably will ask to sit at a different table next time.

The food is always excellent and our waitstaff is always friendly and helpful. We celebrated a dear friend's birthday, and she was thrilled.

We were here for a birthday dinner & had never been before. Wanted to love but sadly didn’t. The food was mid, nothing amazing about it. Food was room temp, not hot. Some items were ok, some were not. Manager handled it but no need to return. Waiter nice but not attentive. Waited and asked far too long and too many times for appetizer plates to be cleared, more drinks, condiments etc……service & food were not as I would have expected for these prices. Many other places to choose from that have a great vibe, service and excellent food.

To start, I had a bad experience with the reservation. I needed to make a change in the initial reservation to add 1 extra person and I felt reprimanded by the hostess. I was informed there was a special event occurring and the table we booked was for a certain # of people and they weren't sure they could accommodate just one extra person. I would have canceled right then but it was a birthday dinner for someone else. Bad start! I always hesitate to say $300+ dinners are a "good value". The food was good, the waiter was good. I didn't find the ambience to be great, a back room with a lot of tables. Some EMPTY TABLES I might add. Noise level was high (maybe from the special event :-) Overall, for the cost+experience= just ok
