The Hind's Head is a traditional country village pub and restaurant serving freshly made food and quality local cask ales. We are a community owned and managed free house in a very picturesque Shropshire village. We have the more traditional areas of the pub with wood burning stoves, as well as a lovely restaurant and welcoming orangery for all our guests to enjoy food, drinks and good company. We offer two wine lists as well as a great selection of cask ales, lagers and ciders. The views from the front of the pub have a perfect picture post card view of St Chad's Church in the centre of the village. While we offer traditional pub classics like freshly made pies and fish and chips, we also regularly offer specials that our chefs create weekly and do a lovely Sunday roast dinner that is extremely popular.
On Wednesday evenings we do different foods and events, please call to confirm the theme to ensure it's what your looking for it could be Tapas, Italian, a quiz night.

    This is our second visit and it didn't disappoint.. the food is amazing... they serve the best cheese and onion pie. The staff are just lovely and very accommodating and the atmosphere is just so relaxing. We're looking forward to our next visit there.

    Lovely ambience. Waitress service was exceptional. Food arrived quickly and was piping hot. I had the steak and ale pie which was good but the meat could have been more tender. Overall an enjoyable meal In very pleasant surroundings

    Overall I really enjoy the Hinds Head for food friendly staff and ambience. My only comment I think the specials should also be priced I ordered a small roast from the specials menu thinking it was all the same price but when we received the bill we discovered it was substantially a lot more. If prices could be shown this would solve the misunderstanding. However would highly recommend

    Wonderful friendly village pub and restaurant. Food is lovely, especially their fish. A lovely welcoming atmosphere, and the staff are smiley and pleasant. My husband says their beer is good too! It's one of our favourite places to go.

    We had a Loveley lunch with some old friends of ours today. We were looked after by Ailsa and she catered for our every need. The food was excellent as usual, and was complimented on by our friends.
