   Great service, polite, friendly and professional. Exceptional food had the Seabass for main course and it was amazing. The restaurant is warm and inviting with a great atmosphere. Great value for the quality of food. Would recommend to friends family and colleagues. Will certainly be returning for a second visit.

   The Hole in the Wall has quickly become our go to gasstro-pub. The four dishes that we had were all well thought out, balanced, and with beautiful service. Whitebait with salsa, Thai inspired seared squid, a rich wonderfully spiced Rogan Josh, and great simple scampi.

   The staff were particularly pleasant. The food very good - special goat cheese and pear starter excellent.

   Food was good, but not amazing. Ambience was poor with very little atmosphere. Service was good. No one on the team seems to have any character or presence. Website boasted roaring fires which is why we chose it - no fires were lit.

   Service and food quality good,but don’t particularly like all the food piled up on a plate If you don’t like any of the vegetables they are there anyway Also too much gravy on plate best set separately Overall quite happy

   Ate at this gastropub for a weekday lunch with a friend. Service was very good as was the quality of the food for most dishes. Menu is a tad eclectic covering British food and some items from further East. On the day we went there was a curry special. There were not many tables in the room we were seated in so if that’s all they have booking is strongly advised. We had soft drinks as we were both driving so can’t comment on the wine list.
