Our chefs are passionate about the food they create and know when it comes to quality, it is the attention to detail that counts. That is why they use the finest seasonal ingredients and source only the best local produce available. With the Romney Marshes, on the doorstep of Rye, delicious lamb dishes are always available. With Rye’s own local fishing boats returning daily with fish caught in the Rye Bay area we are always guaranteed a wealth of fabulous seafood (weather permitting!) Functions and Weddings All our dishes are created on the premises; whether you are looking for a lavish traditional formal menu or an informal buffet; our chefs will be happy to assist you with your menu and any personal requirements you may have. We have an excellent New World wine list with a few classics and we are always more than happy to offer suggestions in choosing the correct wine to complement your chosen menu. For the younger members of the party there is a children’s menu available.

We were staying at The Hope Anchor for two nights and has a meal in the restaurant on Friday evening. We had a lovely meal and the food was excellent.
