* The Iguana Restaurant is an open-air restaurant, that overlooks the city of Puerto Vallarta and serves contemporary Mexican cuisine in an elegant ambiance. Retractable walls take advantage of gentle coastal breezes and crystal chandeliers add soft light while water dances in the adjacent courtyard fountain. The dining room wraps around an outdoor patio with shady palms and another central fountain. In between is nestled the boutique Tequila Bar, serving a wide array of top-flight tequilas and mezcals.

    This is the best dining experience I’ve had on my three vacations to Puerto Vallarta. The place is spectacular, and the dining room is absolutely beautiful with stunning views. The link to Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton is fascinating. But, the star of this show is the food. Beautiful dishes that all tasted incredible. We had the lobster tail, filet, octopus, squash blossoms, poblano and black bean soup, iguana salad and rack of lamb. Each course got better and better. Beautiful cocktails and wine selection. Great team of staff. Thank you for a wonderful night!

    What a great experience overall. The history and ambience set the stage for a great dinner. The CK logo on the plates and linen was also special as those are our first initials. Food was brilliant as expected for a Michelin experience. Definitely a must for future visits to PV.

    Was disappointed there was no entertainment (mariachi’s) Entre included vegetables which I like. Water glasses were not refilled. Very friendly service. Getting more expensive

    I wish I was better at remembering names, but our waiter (Adolpho?) was friendly and attentive, the view was beautiful and the food was excellent, what more could one ask?

    This restaurant is wonderful. One of thee most memorable dinning experiences I’ve had. My fiancé and I were seated in the best table of the restaurant, right in front of the lovers bridge with a perfect view of the city and a most gorgeous sunset falling on the ocean. Our server Raul was informative and extremely attentive, he made us feel special with his service. It was such a treat to be eating in Elizabeth Taylor’s former home, the home was beautiful! The food was delicious and the music was extremely romantic. We also had a pleasant surprise of a mariachi band playing at the restaurant (one of the best mariachi’s I’ve heard). We are looking forward to having this experience again in the future. Gracias Raul!
