   It is always an experience when you can enjoy a good meal in such a beautiful environment. The service was excellent and very friendly. There were no mistakes with the ordering and what was delivered. The Iguana Salad is a stand out, the dressing spectacular. The beef filet had good flavor but was not hot when delivered, The rack of lamb was also delicious but not hot. The Short ribs were delivered hot and tender. I will definitely return someday.

   Love the iguana restaurant. The ambience was absolutely out of this world. Food was fantastic. Service couldn’t be any better. Remember we experience at Elizabeth Taylor’s house.

   Piden respetar un código de vestimenta incluso lo refuerzan por correo y nos encontramos en el tiempo que estuvimos personas en shorts, con playeras e incluso alguno con sandalias plásticas, si anuncian código de vestimenta este debe ser respetado

   The food, drinks , wine and service were excellent! We had the pork shank, short rib and mahi mahi dinners. Delicious!

   This was our first time to The Iguana, and it was absolutely incredible from the time we walked into the door to our lovely hostess, the view, the atmosphere, and our amazing server, Aldo. With Aldo’s incredible suggestions we enjoyed the squash blossoms, the pumpkin soup (mind blowing), the local fish and the Angus fillet. Thank you for giving us an amazing evening and looking forward to seeing you guys next year.

   Horrible transfobic experience with mediocre food What a horrible experience! Starting off with the hostess, Denise, refusing my trans partner and I access, despite reservations, under the claim that they “are a man, and cannot wear sleeveless shirt”, whereas countless female guests where wearing next to nothing, let alone sleeves. For such an iconic place, in a clearly LGBTQIA oriented town, it is surprising that the staff does not have more respect and understanding for gender diversity. It was not a tanktop, but a nice, purple, silken vest/pants set, that even got several compliments from other guests, while Denise had to validate that we could be seated at the table we had booked in advance. Such poor standards. Such poor taste. And such a transfobic atmosphere. In addition to poor service and transphobia, the food was also mediocre and ridiculously priced for the lack of quality. Considering that Mexican food is broadly acknowledged for use of seasoning, the food was bland and uninspiring. I would highly recommend that this establishment gets surpassed whenever you are looking for dining options in Puerto Vallarta.
