The Inn at Lathones is a classic Scottish 17th century country inn with real fires blazing away, beamed ceilings and an award-winning restaurant of the modern European persuasion. Golfers love it here as St Andrews is a mere five miles away. Gregarious host Nick White greets you as you enter the charming yet smart and modern inn with its white panelled walls, blue upholstered chairs, white linens and contemporary art. Executive Chef Martin Avery uses the freshest possible produce in menus that change frequently.

Great service from Leroy and Rhanonon. Good food resonantly priced.

Dined at The Inn at Lathones, near St Andrews. We had three courses from an imaginative menu with great tasting food. The starters of game terrine were good, with accompanying homemade herb bread rolls and butter. The main courses of belly of pork and loin of venison were beautifully cooked and full of flavour. The hot plum tart with ginger ice cream was delicious and rounded off the meal nicely. On the whole the prices are reasonable and certainly well-worth the money.

The food and service were excellent - the shell fish ravioli was a particular hit. Fantastic value.

Tour D'y Voir, Brussels. A gem of a place. 50EURO per person for 5 beautifully presented and delicious courses, including a bottle of excellent wine. The service was first class - attentive and friendly yet unobtrusive. Particular mention must go to the the "surprise" option on the menu... select meat, fish or vegetable, and let the chef choose your dish, meaning your evening can also be an adventure. If you're looking to treat yourself, I can't recommend this place enough.

La Tour d'y Voir - strange location from outside, but don't be put off. A very nice setting inside. Good service, interesting menu and the very interesting choice of the Surprise or Prestige menus, where you simply identify fish, meat or vegetarian and then wait and see what comes. I would certainly go again!

Tour D'y Voir was lovely from when we walked in, to when we left. The food was delicious. We chose the suprise menu and could not fault one thing. The waitress was friendly and we did not have to wait long between meals. It is above a gallery so unless you know about it, you would walk past. I would definately recommend this restaurant.
