My wife and I had a date night here, first time visiting. The hostesses greeted us cheerfully and we were seated promptly. We did not have to wait long for the waitstaff, and they were attentive and available all night, without being obtrusive. We quickly ordered some cocktails, both of which were delicious. I especially liked the glassware for the cocktails, an underrated part of the experience. We settled on the focaccia and the mixed beets for apps, both came out quickly and were very delicious, the focaccia in particular was noteworthy…definitely something I would go back for. For our main course, we ordered the Branzino and the Rigatoni Bolognese. A nice touch, I was unfamiliar with many of the wines on the menu, so our waitress consulted with the bartender to find a nice white that would pair well with the fish. They nailed it. Both meals were very delicious. The pasta was perfect and the bolognese was rich, meaty, and perfectly seasoned. The fish was light and flaky and again, seasoned beautifully. My only complaint is that they didn’t do a very good job deboning, so it was quite a chore to pick the bones out with nearly every bite, it needed to come with a warning label. I did mention it to our server and she was also surprised at the number of bones, apparently that’s not a common thing. The customer service was fantastic, though, as they comped us 2 drinks as an apology. Even with the issue with the bones, I would likely order the dish again (forewarned is forearmed) because it was that tasty.

We loved our dinner at The Inn! It was the perfect place to celebrate our anniversary. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was wonderful, and everything we ordered for drinks/dinner tasted incredible. The date cake was one of the best desserts we have had at a restaurant!

The Inn is a great addition to Hartland's array of restaurants. The establishment is modern and nicely arranged with an exposed kitchen and sizable bar. The small plates (flat bread and the arugula salad) came in nice succession and were pleasing. The pizza is large for one person and perfect for 2. Our reservation was early at 5:15 P.M.; our server was prompt and attentive.

This is the perfect spot to bring a date or even a group. We ordered many things on the menu and thoroughly enjoyed everything. My favorites were the filet and the salmon. We also had the chicken meatballs and tallow fries which were fantastic. I was blown away by the decor on the inside and how comfortable the barstools and seats at the tables were. I loved the open kitchen concept because it holds everyone accountable. No picking your nose please. The lighting was perfect and so was the volume of the soft music playing in the bar area where we sat. It’s a cozy place with great food and I’ll definitely be back. The wine list is solid and so was the pound cake we had for dessert. Plenty of parking too. Great addition to downtown Hartland, it’s a grand slam!

This restaurant is a gem. Every aspect of the experience exudes hospitality and quality. The service is cheerful, helpful, and attentive. The interior is comfortable, thoughtfully designed, and well constructed. Even the lighting is just right. Each dish presented is a feast for the eyes, every bite of food is a delight. The menu appeals to a relaxed weeknight out with friends or special occasion alike. My two teenaged daughters were so pleased with their menu selections, they were both still talking about it the next day. I'm already trying to figure out who I can dine at the Inn with next.

Everybody was very friendly. The ambiance is lovely. There are a few different types of seating area from tables in the bar room, a counter along the kitchen to watch food being prepared, to a small dining room with intimate tables and the larger room. The decor and lighting give a warm and cozy feeling I loved the food. Our table's favorite was the focaccio bread with a side of burrata cheese. The slice was about 4"x4" with lovely olive oil on the plate and fresh herbs. We shared a Caesar salad and a beet salad. We loved the colorful beet salad. More. We also shared Tallow french fries that came with a really delicious aioli sauce. The fries were crispy and flavorful. Two people split a fish fry of cod. The piece of cod is very large and came with a pile of fries and coleslaw. The homemade tartar sauce was so good. I could have eaten a bowl of that on its own. In fact, it was really good to dip the fries into.

Lovely dinner and wine. Great server. On this last visit the noise level was quite high. Will request different seating next time.

Our service and food was exceptional. The cocktail menu is a bit small, that is the only thing that I think they could improve on otherwise everything was amazing. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful, and the staff was very friendly.

Cocktails and wine too pricey. Poor acoustics. Some good salads. Some good entrees. Many items disappointing. Likely not going back.
