The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    We were grateful to find that The Italiano was open on Christmas day! We were lucky to get a lunch time spot thru Open Table app. the restaurant is beautiful! The food was delicious and service was excellent! We had appetizers, wine, entrees and dessert! All did not disappoint! Highly recommend this restaurant!

    The food was delicious. Our waiter Gary went the extra mile to make sure our dinner experience was superb. Ended the dinner with almond cookies and Lemonciello shots ..combo just what we needed. Will come again.

    This is my 1st experience at The Italiano and it was superb. Made reservations and got in on time. The food, atmosphere and service were excellent and felt very authentic. The whole experience is a vibe. Can’t wait to go back!

    Ate here when they first opened and it was exceptional! Last night, the service was mediocre, the noise level was high and the food was not as good. The first visit we sat next to a table with two food critics so I am assuming we got superior service due to that fact. I ordered the Italian salad on both occasions and felt the dressing had changed. Two of us ordered the Shrimp Fra Diavolo. While the shrimp was excellent, the linguini had very little sauce so it was dry. Another ordered the Chicken Parmesan and that was wonderful. I can recommend the short rib lasagna. That is to die for! The noise level was high so we had trouble communicating. Beautiful decor.

    Food was delicious. Service initially a little slow. Noise level was high including a terrific piano player. Liked it well enough to go back again soon!

    My chicken scallopini was very tough. Hard to cut through. The service was terrible because our waiter was forced to be the bartender, so we had no one to wait on us. I have been there for dinner and it was excellent, so this lunch was really disappointing!
