The Italiano, the newest masterpiece by Chef Joey Maggiore and his team of culinary geniuses, located at 90th Street and Shea Blvd. in Scottsdale, the elevated Italian restaurant will be The Maggiore Group’s sixth concept introduced to the Valley’s award-winning dining scene.

The Italiano exudes an ambiance of casual elegance, blending warmth with sophistication, while offering authentic Italian dishes that transport you to the very heart of culinary tradition in Italy. The menu will feature the flavors of old-school red sauce Italian cuisine with a Chef Joey touch. Interactive tableside experiences will include an antipasto cart where guests can curate their own plate with over 30 different items. There will also be a must-try Limoncello cocktail cart and a Zabaione dessert cart.

The Italiano's lounge and bar will be open at 3pm, and reservations will begin at 5pm for main dining.

    This was our second visit. On this visit my wife was very happy with her fish dish. I was very unhappy with my veal parmigiana and the side of pasta.

    Our Christmas dinner dining experience was exquisite, delicious and just AMAZING! This by far is the best Italian food we have had outside of Italy! HIGHLY recommend. This will be our forever go to from now on. Worth the 45 min drive for us!!!

    Christmas Day dinner was delicious. Hard to believe that they can maintain the quality of cuisine, service and atmosphere on such a busy day.

    Made reservations for my wife’s birthday on Christmas Day a month in advance. Asked to have roses on the table and asked for the blue room. Neither was accommodated. Seated right by the piano player, very nice addition but very loud when you sit anywhere near him. We couldn’t even hear each other talk. I was very disappointed as I also confirmed this a week prior. Had to remind the server after our desserts came to bring a candle for her birthday. Overall food was good.

    Absolutely outstanding food!! Our meal was fabulous; one of the best Italian dinners I ever had. The only issue I had is that we were seated at a table right across from the piano player and the noise level from the music was very high. We will definitely be a regular customer of The Italiano! A truly wonderful restaurant!!

    All pastas and apps were exceptional. Holiday seafood was fresh and enjoyable. Wife thought the chicken parm was mid. Specialty ribeye steak was also mid. Ribeye quality did not seem up to par. Service and overall experience were fantastic. 2nd time dining but we will continue to go back for the pastas apps and experience.
