   Lovely staff but terrible service. Took forever to get my wife’s starter and there didn’t seem to be much coordination or understanding of what was going in in the kitchen Will put this down to a bad day but wi come back

   We had a wonderful lunch, the food was incredible and our waitress Jamie could not have been any more helpful.

   We visited Brighton and decided to try the local Ivy. I called ahead to check if they accepted walk-ins, but no one answered the phone. When we arrived at the reception at 18:45, we asked for a table, and Isabella told us they were fully booked. I asked if there was any availability later, and at first, she offered us a table at 8 PM, but David immediately told her not to book us in. We left, walked for two minutes, and managed to book a table online for 7 PM—plenty of availability. When we returned they made us wait outside until 7PM, claiming the table wasn’t ready, even though we could clearly see multiple empty tables inside. In the end, they gave us one of those empty tables, which was actually set for six people, even though we were only three. They apologized, but David was condesending and arrogant and the overall experience was still awful. Terrible customer service—such a shame for such a beautiful Ivy location. I hope someone addresses this issue.

   We came for an anniversary meal. We had the ultimate experience package. The first couple of courses were great but then after the 2nd course we thought we had been forgotten about. We were waiting nearly 40 mins for our curry. By this time we were getting past eating. We asked a few times what the delay was but people said it would just be a few minutes. Which it wasn’t. Our bill was £180 and to be honest it was not worth this amount of money.

   Customer service very poor for such an expensive venue. 2x Konichiwa set teas bought. Drink arrived at least 15 minutes before any cakes. Not enough cakes for each of us to have 1 of each. Charged more than set price on menu and when pointed out still more than set price. Implied criticism of customer not telling staff when they came to check all alright. No one came to check! No apologies given. Staff ruined experience in beautiful venue. Food/ drink good if not timely and correct amount.

   We had an absolutely fantastic time. The food was outstanding. We had the premium experience menu and I would recommend this. The staff were superb and were very helpful. We will definitely be returning soon.

   Love Ivy Asia, food, staff, surroundings amazing. However we did not see the need for a DJ and loud club music on Saturday night. Would have preferred more laidback maybe Asian music. It was also hard for one of us to find GF. Other than that it’s amazing.

    Overall was ok. We had the Ivy Asia Experience Premium menu. We had it before and it was amazing. Now ai think a few courses have been dropped so it wasn’t as good in terms of selection. No duck and sushi was limited. Also last time we had a selection of icecreams and other Asian desserts. Overall food we did have was ok but not amazing.
