What a fantastic restaurant The Ivy Asia is If you haven’t already been it’s a must to go Yes it’s not cheap but for a special occasion it’s a must Fantastic experience for my first time having a taster menu.

We opted for the £65 set menu which was an excellent choice. A good mix of fish/ meat and so tasty and surprisingly filling. The service was excellent and of course the ambience was good as always.

We have been regular visitors, but this time our experience was really poor. Service was dreadful and one particular dish was inedible. We had taken friends as we had raved about our previous experiences. We were embarrassed and will not be revisiting any time soon!!!

We usually have an outstanding experience at Ivy Asia Mayfair and it was very good. We loved the food, my friends were impressed and I'm happy I brought them here. Only lowlight, and this is a first - never happened to me -, our chats were constantly interrupted by the waiter interaction. While it's totally fair to be able to do his part (ask how things are going, or bring food, or ask if something is finished) I feel like it's imperative that the soirée do not revolve about that interaction but we can enjoy the evening. I was totally unprepared for this scenario and I didn't know how to raise this, our evening has been seriously affected by this and it's been saddening to see some friends upset.
