We had a really lovely meal, food and drinks were amazing and well priced..The atmosphere was nice and the attention to detail was immaculate the only small critic that I would have would be we couldn't hear the music playing in the background.

It was great - the only downside was the toilets were go 4 flights of stairs… not ideal for my heavily pregnant sister in law or 76 year old mother. Lovely otherwise

Disappointed overall on our experience! Beautiful decorative setting creating a welcoming ambience, however the Christmas menu which my partner chose was quite unappealing and not good value for money at £60 for three courses. The main turkey dish was dry & salty and the Brussel sprouts were mushy. The Christmas pudding was tiny and lacked richness. I chose the strangely named Goose Turkey Duck shepherd's pie from the main menu which consisted of beef and lamb! A very unappetising salty portion indeed reminiscent of a school dinner!!We were told by our waitress that the restaurant had run out of Guinness Zero and there was only one non-alcoholic lager on offer in entirety. We had been looking forward to an evening of fine dining but our experience was very underwhelming where the food was concerned. The waitress was pleasant and the young man in the entrance hall who greeted us and showed us to our table had exemplary manners. With hindsight we probably should have asked for the service charge to be removed from our bill because the food was not to a high standard. We left the restaurant feeling quite down-hearted.

The atmosphere was very down, it was quiet without any background music. I was there with a friend for breakfast. It was not busy yet we were placed in an area with two other groups of two. As it was so quiet we couldn’t relax or chat probably as we were so close to others. If it’s so quiet why place people on tables so close together.

Excellent venue for a special occasion. Great dining experience. We had two cocktails two starters, two steaks (came with chips and peppercorn sauce each) and shared one side of tenderstem broccoli and one bottle of Pinot Grigio to share. Bill came to £200. We had a £150 gift voucher so this took the sting out of the tail. Couldn’t fault any of the food or service only to say that I had my heart set of the squid starter but they had none left.

Really not as good as the other Ivy restaurants over visited in London, York, Leeds and Glasgow. I wouldn’t recommend it.
