    Stakes were cooked great but unfortunately the chips that came with them made dinner very unpleasant as they were so overcooked that they been hard and crunchy which wasn’t great and calamari that came as starter very under cooked and very oily . Beer luckily that came in that frozen glass as if it would of not been in it would of not been able to make the difference if is a beer or a tea as it was very warm in 2 out of 3…we looked at the desert menu but decided not order anymore as every part of dinner was ruined. Warm beer , undercooked calamari and chips forgotten in the fryer which we paid in total £115 is not great. I give 3 stars as steaks and waitress were great but unfortunately due to food issues don’t think we will come back.thank you

    Extremely busy for breakfast on Mother’s Day but service was friendly and super efficient. Food was delicious. Very much enjoyed by the whole family

    From the greeting at the reception desk to leaving the restaurant the team were amazing. Excellent service and amazing food. Afternoon tea bought as a gift was a lovely present. Nothing was to much trouble. Thank you for a lovely afternoon.

    Very warm welcome by the host, excellent service, the variety on offer in the lunch menu was perfect, prawn tempura was crispy and with a slight kick which was perfect, grilled chicken was slightly bland and far too much Peppercorn on it, tiramisu was soaked in liqueur which was a bit overwhelming, the wine list was to the point.

    Excellent as always. Gareth was a fantastic host and made us feel so welcome and looked after throughout the meal. Atmosphere was buzzy and lively - great to see on a mid-week lunchtime at this part of the month. Food was delicious. Cheese soufflé and Duck Rending Curry were a standout, as well as the beautiful theatre on the smoked salmon. See you again soon!
