Welcome to our famous wood panelled dining room where you can enjoy a variety of dishes carefully prepared by the experienced award winning Chefs. Inspired by a love of modern British food, the menus are built with a unique variety using the best quality produce & ingredients, much of which is locally sourced.

Whether you join us for lunch or dinner our lavishly designed lounges offer an ambient, restful space to relax, unwind and look forward to the sumptuous dining experience and are perfect for enjoying the sea views.

Our Table D’Hote menu is served Monday to Friday midday until 2.30pm with evening service from 6.30pm until 9pm and Sunday 4.pm until 7pm. Our beautifully crafted A La Carte menu is served every Saturday from Midday – 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 9pm. Our famous Sunday lunch service is from midday until 4pm.

    Amazing food and atmosphere. It was early in the evening so it was quiet but we was seated at a table for two right next to the service area so didn’t feel very intimate even though there was plenty of other tables vacant. However with that said the staff were amazing, food was superb and we had a great night.

    Really enjoyed our Christmas lunch at the Kingsway, the service was excellent as usual and the food was the usual high standard. We did find the drinks quite expensive - we bought wine by the glass and our four glasses of wine cost nearly as much as the meal

    I’m still thinking about the Christmas meal we had, it was so lovely. The best meal I have had eating out for a long time. Everything about it was superb, the taste, the portion size, the service, the ambiance. I’m looking forward to my next meal there.

    Food improved from previous visit two weeks ago. Service was very slow table booked for 7pm meal arrived 8.30pm Staff a bit narky when we noticed we had been charged for 3 courses instead of two, even more put out when we wanted to pay individually. This hadn’t been an issue two weeks ago. Probably will go again because it’s a nice place to sit and relax. Staff really need to remember and learn to suck up to customers

    My food was terrible really, I had prawn cocktail which had no sauce and chopped peppers. I had the haddock goujons for main and can honestly say I’ve had better at home airfried from my freezer. The service, we had to call staff over every time we needed anything or to get another drink and the place wasn’t even busy. I was really disappointed as I’ve never heard a bad report about this place and was looking forward to it. Maybe it was a one off but still no excuse ☹️

    This was our 2nd visit (we came in July 2023 ) I have to say both the food, service and indeed the ambience have improved considerably. This time it was a wonderful experience, it was so good that even though we where planning on going somewhere else for drinks after the meal we stayed in the warm cosy lounge drinking for several hours. All the staff where really friendly and approachable, special mention to the new bar manager who was great fun … we will be back
