A richly decorated dining room, naturally illuminated during the day by a domed glass roof while seductively aglow under softly lit chandeliers in the evening, this grand Regency restaurant offers a truly memorable fine dining experience. On Thursdays, enjoy live entertainment from a jazz trio, whilst on Sundays one of the best Sunday Roast Lunches in London can be found here. While the food was excellent and the service was mostly attentive, the experience was ruined for me by a neighboring table with a small child. I had maybe a half an hour of enjoying the piano when they arrived and proceeded to turn on their tablet and played kids cartoons with no headphones. I was about to ask to be moved to a different table when an influx of customers walked in. There was a pianist and all I could hear was the high pitch voice of the cartoon characters right behind me. No one asked them to turn it down or utilize headphones. It was disruptive to me and I couldn’t wait to leave. In a high caliber establishment such as this, noise like that should not be allowed. It ultimately ruined my experience and enjoyment of the afternoon lunch.

Wonderful festive experience. Staff were very attentive and knowledgeable. Food was exactly as described and the parsnip soup was superb. Lovely to have live background music in beautiful surroundings. It could not have been better.

What a marvelous place to spend the dinner. Fabulous food. The fish was at its perfect point, the soup delicious and you can always have a conversation because the surrounding noise is very mild. The staff is always nice but not bothering. Perfect place to have dinner in London
