   Our group of 4 wanted a venue where we could hear each other. The Lawn fit the bill. Food was good, not great, but the service was mediocre. At one point, I had to get up and walk over to the bartender and ask to send our server to refill my water. The place was not busy, so no excuses. The place has a nice relaxed feel and is easy to get a reservation last minute. We will give it another try.

   The crab cakes are so delicious! The room is more cozy now that they have toned down the lighting and added the small lights on the tables. The service is a little slow, but the value is good.

   The Lawn never disappoints, all the food and drink are on point! Staff is knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a win every single time I’ve eaten there, whether it be brunch, lunch or dinner!!

   This was our third year that we have celebrated on New Year's Eve at The Lawn. It's a wonderful tradition and each year we have enjoyed different main dishes. Every meal has been excellent. The staff are always young and energetic. The fireplace adds so much charm. Also, the vaulted ceiling absorbs noise and makes the room quiet even with many diners. We look forward to coming back with friends during this new year!

   We were not impressed at all. We arrived at the restaurant at 7:00 on a Friday night and other than a group at the bar, the place was empty and freezing cold. We all sat at the table with our coats on. We ordered appetizers: flat bread, crab dip and shisheido peppers. They were good but nothing special at all. The drinks were all good. The meals were mixed. The salad was delicious but they were out of shrimp and had to have chicken on the salad instead. The French dip was very tasty although not consistent in size. One person had it and the sandwich was stacked with meat, the other person had it and it was a small amount of meat. The fries were really good. The beef stew came out cold. Once rewarmed, it was tasty but heavy on the salt. Very little meat and mostly diced up veggies. The lobster pot pie was a complete disappointment. The description should have indicated it was deconstructed and not hearty at all. One was returned due to the excessive amount of salt. Definitely not worth the money at all. They were out of the apple cobbler. Keep in mind, it's a Friday night and other than one large table that was seated way after us. No excuse. The waitress was very nice but a horrible waitress. We were literally her only table. She would disappear for lengths of time. Was unsure of the answers to many questions about which foods were gluten free. All in all it was not the experience we were hoping for and won't be back
