Looking for somewhere new to go for a drink? Want somewhere to eat that has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly-staff? After a country pub that has a wide selection of drinks and homemade food? Then look no more! You've found us. The Leadburn Inn is located on the Peebles Road in Leadburn, just south of Penicuik. Since recently becoming its new owners we’ve refurbished the main bar to reflect the pub’s heritage and to provide a cosy, informal environment for our customers. We’re also a dog-friendly pub and have a special “snug” area where you can both feel at home. If you’re passing then why not stop, come in and see for yourself? My fiancé and I have visited the Leadburn Inn on a few occasions and every visit the food has been amazing! Varied menu and it doesn't take ages for food to arrive. Staff also very friendly and attentive to your needs. It's a 30 min drive from our house but worth the trip!

We dined here on a sunday evening for my husbands birthday.We have been before and loved it.The food is homecooked and amazing.The staff are very polite and helpful.We love it here and will keep going back:)

Very nice welcoming place with a good atmosphere. Staff couldn't have been nicer. So friendly and knowledgeable. Our meals were delicious with good sized portions all at a reasonable price. I will definitely go back.

We had a very nice meal at the Leadburn, although because it was a Monday night it was very quiet, so lacked a little atmosphere.

Went midweek, so very quiet. Staff were lovely and the food was good, honest, hearty pub grub. Rhubarb crumble was delicious (and huge!) but it defeated me. The offer of a doggy bag therefore was a bonus, and I can confirm that it was just as delicious cold the next day.

Great food,great service and amazing food.Staff were very attentive.We were there for mothers day with my husband and mother in law.Shes fussy but thought it was great so must be good!:)

A bit disappointed by the food. We had the Roast Chicken lunch and whilst there was not actually anything wrong with it, it was just a bit bland and "ok" The staff were really nice and attentive but would not really recommend the food
