Had a wonderful experience during our first visit. The food was wonderful and the service was superb. Our server even recommended we visit 88 Keys next door and we had a blast. Made for a wonderful date night. Will definitely be back.

We started with the escargot, which did lack a depth of flavor, though it was good, and I would reorder. I believe that a hint of salt would do the trick and make this top tier. I had the Duck Cerrise, which was perfectly prepared. The cherry jam was to die for. My wife had the menu salmon, and it, too, was perfectly prepared, perfectly seasoned, and highly recommended.

One of our favorite dining venues for special occasions. The library offers many of the classics in every elements of the meal. Enjoyed sharing appetizers of shrimp cocktail and one of beef tips with bearnaise sauce. For Entrees a very tender & flavorful beef tenderloin paired with a lobster tail cooked French style (not salt water) & Long Island duck breast in a cherry glazed sauce. We selected Cherries Jubilee for desert. It is a difficult to choose among bananas foster traditional cakes & specials of the day in rounding out the meal. The Library presents an exceptional wine list containing several labels above the $200 price level but also offers several good selections in the $80-100 range. Table service is excellent, attentive but not intrusive. The Library is well our normal $120-200 dinner out budget, but it is an experience worth the extra cost.

Our server was new to his position but was knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Drinks were average and very pricey. Our filets were tender and flavorful. The sides were nothing to talk about - boiled red potato and glazed carrots. The seafood trio was a little disappointing since the small lobster tails were dry and difficult to remove from the shell and crabmeat was sparse. Caesar salad was prepared table side if you like having the romaine already in the bowl and then dump in a prepared dressing and some croutons. How is that table side prep? I've had Caesar salad prepared table side enough times to know the steps involved. Disappointment. We didn't order dessert but I made it known when making the reservation and twice dropped the hint that it was my husband's birthday and nothing. Not even a little something recognizing it. Not worth the very hefty bill. We won't return.

Our server, Robert and his assistant, Michael, were both great. The presentation of the food and quality are both exceptional. I think this is probably the best restaurant in Myrtle Beach for fine dining. It is a bit on the pricey side, but I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for!!

The restaurant did not meet our expectations due to all the people that we know that dined there. The vegetables were dry and the banana fosters were very different not the traditional recipe .

We’re from Miami and we found The Library to be as good as the quality food we usually eat in some of the best restaurants from home. It was really a great experience for Thanksgiving, with specials for the holiday, and a great atmosphere. The prices were in line with the restaurants in Bal Harbour, FL which is fine, a bit pricey, but hey…you get what you pay for. And it didn’t disappoint. We would definitely not hesitate to eat here again when in the Myrtle Beach area.

Wow! Definitely a wonderful dining experience! The food was beyond fabulous and the service was first class! Although we went on Thanksgiving and planned on likely having the traditional turkey dinner, the chef also had a few other choices on the menu-one of which was halibut, my husband and my favorite fish! It was the best we have ever had! We also had escargot and shrimp cocktail and for dessert the peanut butter oreo cake. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server, Patrick, was outstanding! Our new favorite restaurant in MB!
