   There was a eyelashes in my food. It took away my experience of the whole meal. I was compared the fries but I kept thinking about the whole food on the table.

   The service at The Library was excellent—our server was attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout the meal. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, making it a great spot for brunch. However, the Benedict I ordered wasn’t quite up to expectations. The eggs weren’t fully cooked, with noticeable uncooked whites, which was a bit disappointing. I’d love to see more attention to detail on that dish. Overall, it was still an enjoyable experience, and I’d definitely return for the wonderful service and ambiance. Here’s hoping for a flawless Benedict next time!

   Everything was delicious but our friend order the schnitzel and he’s allergic to sesame seeds and it wasn’t listed so he had to send it back. He ordered a steak but had to eat alone because we were finished by the time it came.

   After seeing this featured on several YouTube videos about St Petersburg, this really missed the mark. The food was bland, the service mediocre, and either a loud blender or vacuum was constantly running in the background (…at The Library 🤔). Suggestions for improvement. More flavor - though the fried chicken was juicy and cooked well, and the deviled eggs were wonderfully presented - there was nothing distinct about their flavor from something g that could be made at home. Additionally, cooking the burrata ruins it. It just turns into a big glob of mozzarella cheese instead of a fresh ball that oozes creamy mozzarella when cut into while fresh. Also, everyone was very pleasant. However, the waiters (or, at least our waiter) needs refinement. He was either new or needs to go back into training. His attention to his tables was severely lacking. He would come to take our order, bring the drinks, and then the check. Fine but we had dishes piling up after appetizers, had the opportunity to only order one drink, and then had to get up to ask for a knife. Yes, first world problems but, the image of the restaurant should be matched by its food and service. Anyhow, not a terrible place but refinement is certainly needed for all its hype. Otherwise just be a diner.

   The ambiance is the best feature here. The food is good but the menu never changes. With the restaurant experience of these owners they should know to mix up the menu from time to time or offer a special. The kitchen was not running on all cylinders during our visit as it took a long time for our food to come out even though the dining room was only 1/3rd full. Although we told them that this was a birthday celebration when we made the reservation, they didn’t acknowledge it or do anything special until we were walking out the door when we asked them about it. They then gave us some cookies and ice cream to take home with us. All in all not a great evening at The Library. They need to kick it up a notch if they want to continue in St Pete.

    Great restaurant. The food is amazing. You should try the cauliflower as an appetizer and the entrées have so many wonderful options as the roasted chicken, the filets, and the vodka rigatoni. The drinks are amazing too.
