   Good pub been there many times over the last 30 years but think it's lost its charm and friendliness a bit this is a personal opinion and I'm a bit old school ,food was good but found the menu hard to read in the low lighting the font was small.

   Everything we had been looking for since we moved to Devon. Can't wait to go back. Excellent wine to accompany an elegant menu.

   One of my favourite places to eat as the menu has lots of choice and the food is always delicious. It was my mother’s 88th birthday meal. Both parents said it was the best meal they had ever had in a pub/restaurant. Perfectly cooked as requested and changes were happily accommodated. The service was outstanding. They will want to go back every time they stay with me now, but I am happy with that.

   Our service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. The waitress was very friendly and we had a lot of banter throughout the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, plenty of choice and our waitress asked if our elderly friends wanted a smaller portion of food. Which was wonderful as there was no wasted food. Great service!! Our food arrived very quickly and piping hot. We had a range of meals, steak, roast beef, salmon, fish pie, chicken supreme and beef salad. Very well priced and delicious food. We will be back. The Linney is a true gem.
