A superb set menu, well executed meal . A very small space for intimate dining . Felt a bit too austere for 31/2 hours of sitting and didn’t understand that there is a supplement for the main course on top of the £85 set menu price - £20 per person for our 230gms of Turbot tail which when you’d removed the tail & bones was probably 85gms of edible fish. Best bit was the squid croquettes with ink mayonnaise .

Fabulous food, wonderfully prepared with exceptional service. They do however charge an extra £20pp for the ‘main course’ which I found slightly odd on a tasting menu. Maybe this should be more explicit on the website. Nonetheless we had a fantastic time!

First time to this place, absolutely mind blowingly amazing food. Sit back and enjoy the 3 hour experience. Forget the odd reviews about the decor, its perfect and reflects the modern intellect of the menu. Music was also a perfect choice of modern jazz. The service was also first class as were the selected wines. (as a white wine alternative, go with the Poppy, Pinot Noir)😉.

We booked this as a date night out. One of the most incredible meals we have had. Creative, very tasty and every course was better than the last. Would highly recommend and definitely going back.

Fantastic food and service. It’s a long, languorous evening (over 3 hours) which we really loved but won’t be for everyone. Tiny gripe on pricing - the advertised price for the menu excluded an extra charge for the main course - whilst it’s usual in our experience to charge more for an optional extra like a cheese course or premium ingredients like lobster, it’s unusual to charge extra for an essential component of the meal. I guess it’s linked to the market price of the fish but we’d not seem that before. But overall it’s a superb restaurant and well worth the money.

The food was outstanding and a really reasonable price given the high quality. We had the 3 course lunch menu and the fish was delicious. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and friendly. The chef came out at the end to give us our bill. Overall it was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it.

We asked for the music to be turned down so that it did not interfere with conversation and our request was duly complied with. The whole meal was a pleasure and the recommended wine was superb. Alice the waitress was very helpful and the service was very good. We were also fortunate to meet the chef in person and to thank him. This of course added to the restaurant’s ambience. It was our second visit but we will be back!
