Fish burger large and tasty, gluten-free pizza delicious. Only drawback was the fries that came with the burger: mostly black, soggy and dripping in oil: oil temp too low perhaps, left in too long perhaps, and certainly not drained. But good meal overall, and very good service.

A delightful lunch - had not been to the Local in some time and was pleasantly surprised. I had burger and fries at the bar. Service was amiable and timely. Lots of good cheer. A solid spot for a casual lunch.

I have enjoyed dining -- at both lunch and dinner -- at this handy local spot often, and have usually been quite pleased with the food and service. This Christmas week, perhaps due to the myriad staff/supply/COVID issues I've observed elsewhere, my experience was not quite up to par. Prices are up, ingredients are down, and our server was missing in action for most of my meal. I won't write off The Local just yet, but hope that they bring their game back up in the months to come.

The Local is a good solid restaurant for decent food. The ambiance is enjoyable and the staff are consistently excellent.

Celebrated my mother’s birthday here as a party of 6. Pleasant service, good food, and a broad enough menu that pleased all. Good cocktails! We will be back for sure.

Great dinner, seared haddock, steak tips and Chicken Milanese were all xcellent, apps pork dumplings and butternut squash soup were also excellent. Drinks and service great .

Great place to meet up with friends. Bar can get a little loud though, so can make it hard to hear your conversation, even at tables outside bar area.
