The Loch & the Tyne is all about sustainable British luxury. The perfect countryside location for exclusive weddings, private events and country getaways.

We're a British pub in the countryside of old Windsor, offering a relaxed and cosy space where guests can pop in for a quick drink or retreat for the day trying out our list of local craft beers and wine. We very much celebrate English wines, both still and sparkling.

We offer British pub food, with a luxury approach. It’s a simple offering but showcases the
best of British produce. Our Sunday lunch is perfect to come and enjoy with friends and family (and
dogs are more than welcome too).

    So disappointed as this was a Sunday lunch treat. We had a wobbly table infront of the door by the bar. Very noisy, draughtyand busy. So pick your table. My friends said they enjoyed their beef wellington, but our carrot wellington was very salty as was the mushroom sauce. The pastry was thin but undercooked on the inside. Lovely roast potatoes and Yorkshers and cauliflower cheese, but only other veg was a mean portion of mixed greens. Not enough vegetables. Normally I can only manage 1 course Sunday lunch but I had 3 courses and could have eaten more.

    Perfect dining experience for a relaxing early evening Friday supper! The whole plaice was the best I’ve tasted and the trifle, sublime. Pricey wine but when the food and service is this good, it’s worth it. Many thanks.

    Mea ? sorry for spelling was amazing as was our food, all 5 of us loved the whole experience. I shared the giant Turbot SPECIAL with a fiend which was delicious.

    As always a superb, excellent service from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The quality of the food was exceptional. The touches to make a special occasion more special were lovely. Highly recommended we'll definitely be visiting again.

    A truly wonderful place. We came after visiting Windsor castle for my father’s OBE ceremony and the staff were so accommodating and made the experience truly special. We hadn’t booked a place for lunch until the day before and they were able to give us a wonderful table. The server, Mia, was so friendly and bubbly and she made sure we had everything we needed. When I booked the table, I had originally booked for 2pm but we finished at the castle at 12:30, so they were able to move up our reservation to 1pm with no hassle. Finally the food was amazing and presented beautifully. Thank you very much.

    Very innovative cuisine in the countryside around Windsor. Great way to sample several creative dishes, the Bib Gourmand is very well deserved. Kimchi mac cheese a true revelation. Impressive wine list, but wines were somewhat expensive in relation to the food.
