Welcome to the Lodge at Salhouse, we are a family run pub occupying a charming 19th century vicarage. The pub has recently been renovated, including comfortable bedrooms set in seven acres of countryside garden.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by the picturesque Norfolk Broads, while Salhouse boasts numerous scenic walks for both guests and four-legged friends to enjoy.

The neighbouring village of Wroxham provides plentiful amenities including a department store, local shops and cafes, and is popular with holidaymakers wishing to hire boats - we would all agree that one of the best ways to experience the Broads is on the water!

Norfolk also boasts 90 miles of award-winning coastline, with lots of variety to explore. From sandy beaches and rugged cliffs to salt marshes, there really is a beach for everyone! Here at the Lodge our closest stretch of beach is only a half-hour drive away.

    As always the food here, like their other establishments, was fantastic! You get so much and all food was exceptional quality. Our only issue was the bill, whereby we had 2 drinks added to it which we didn’t have. A small error and was rectified instantly. Will definitely be back!!

    Good was great. My only complaint was noise level. It was very busy but noise level was raised by needless music beat in back ground that everyone talked louder over to be heard

    A nice experience for lunch, only thing that was a bit strange was they don’t seem to have the heating on . Seemed quite cold in there.

    We booked for my father’s 82nd birthday. I ordered skate with no chips expecting a larger portion of salad, I got a small handful of salad. Dad’s chips were overcooked and my brothers meal was also incomplete without the stated king prawns on the menu. This place has been a firm family favourite in the past. Sadly this is now no longer the case
