   Myself and a friend met for breakfast the service was good the atmosphere perfect and the food was very good both for quality and value for money.

   Meal for 8, lively surroundings, friendly staff and great atmosphere. Meals are a little more expensive than some, but quality ingredients used and well cooked. Most meals had generous portions, two of us were a little disappointed on the portion size of the duck meal, 3 tiny potatoes and felt a little more veg would have made it much better, we had a gluten free option which meant we couldn't have the crusted leeks, but it didn't look like it was substituted with any more of anything else which was a shame. But overall, a very enjoyable evening was had by all.

   There were five in our group and three of us were completely happy with our food. The other two diners had the fish pie which has been significantly changed. It comes in a much smaller dish is probably 2/3 the size of what they have been serving, but still the same price. Also, it wasn’t of quite the same quality. It’s such a shame because they had always said it was the best fish pie ever, but probably won’t order it again.

   Main dining room is very nice and there are some cosy tables for two. In summer it would be lovely to eat outside.

   Had a Sunday roast today it was delicious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will visit again.

   Friendly welcome. The restaurant was very noisy and could possibly do with some screens in places to reduce noise levels. We received our drinks quickly, but the food order was slow in arriving, probably as they were so busy and not to overload chefs. The menu choice is amazing. The starters are more like small main meals, excellent, but pricey. We both enjoyed our mains but after such a large starter my wife was unable to finish hers, so she said she would not have a starter when we return. The sweet was lovely, but once again pricey. The staff were very pleasant and we will return in the future.

   Food is amazing. Good selection of options and choices. Staff very friendly and polite. Would highly recommend for a special treat. Quite expensive but very high quality food and well worth what you pay.

   Excellent food, only complaint is the portions are a bit big and neither of us could manage a dessert. We had the full size skate wing and salmon fillet. Our waitress was wonderful and very helpful and friendly.
