   I liked the back country feel and decor, as well as the local lounge menu. The music was a bit loud. The service was great:) friendly staff.

   First time dining at the Lodge on Saturday night. Nice atmosphere and the food was great. It was quiet at 6:00 pm but the restaurant filled up and we were pleasantly surprised when a live country band played. Plan on going back,

   We went to celebrate Mom's 88th birthday. Enjoyed some drinks and shared appys. Really nice woodsy/rustic ambiance, attentive staff, tasty food. We'll visit again!

   We were first greeted by the manager who was so welcoming and a joy right away. When we sat there was a mix up about the sections so we sat ungreeted for a little bit, but once we were able to get the attention of the manager, our entire experience changed. Immediately we were made to feel taken care of, and they were so kind to take care of a round of drinks and appetizers for us. It just kept getting better; the elk meatballs we ordered were so delicious we would’ve bought ten more, and our drinks were delicious! Our server was very sweet and personable and we had a great time talking with the staff at the lodge. We ordered salmon and fish and chips for dinner and they were cooked perfectly. We may have even found the best fish and chips in Calgary! Safe to say what was a rocky start very quickly became a smooth ride and confirmation that we will be returning again. The ambience is super cozy and warm, and I would recommend the lodge over and over again. We are definitely the newest round of regulars and will be back before we know it!

   Started our night in an extremely cramped and uncomfortable booth, but once we moved things improved drastically. The food was fantastic, drinks tasty and staff were great. We’re already planning to go back with friends. Highly recommend!!

   Nothing terrible to say. The ambiance and service were excellent. The food was average. Be warned that if you order the beet salad, it is a bowl full of beets.

   My two friends and I had brunch at The Lodge. The food is pretty standard fare breakfast. The setting is unique, beautiful and relaxing. Our waiter was courteous and attentive. Overall this experience was good, but didn't hit the "great" mark.
