The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

[SOLD OUT] Join us on Thanksgiving Day from 11am until 3pm for a special holiday prix-fixe meal prepared by Chef Steve Painter. Guests may choose a soup or salad, followed by a traditional turkey main course or a vegetarian option of honey roasted acorn squash. The full menu will be posted on our website under the 'Events' tab. Seating for Thanksgiving is limited and must be booked by phone or OpenTable as early as possible. If anyone in your party is unable to climb stairs, please let us know so we can plan accordingly. We look forward to seeing you!

And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We were a party of 6 with 6 PM reservations dining at the Log Cabin for the first time. The building is absolutely beautiful with period correct furnishings and artwork. Our party was seated in one of the upstairs dining rooms at a round table for 6 in a cozy corner. Excellent location because we did a bit loud at times. Service was timely and attentive. Each appetizer, soup, salad and entree were prepared as ordered and delicious. Definitely recommend this restaurant for a special intimate dinner or large business group and anything in between.

This is one of the most elegant yet interesting places to dine. The old log cabin feel is preserved but updated carefully. It has various rooms with artwork, a bar, and even a speakeasy. It opened in the 1920’s, and it still presents its history without sacrificing modern dining. The food and drinks were excellent and the service outstanding.

The Log Cabin is a secluded yet welcoming culinary delight! The warmth and charm felt like a hug! Our server, Lauren, was engaging, informative, and clearly an asset. The menu was creative and interesting. We thoroughly enjoyed our dinners - blackened salmon Oscar and the free range chicken breast - prepared to perfection. Sincere thanks to the staff for a great dining experience.

It’s tradition. We get it. But, way too expensive for the portions and quality of our meals. In addition , the wine list is outrageous. Our server was overwhelmed. After many years of dining at the LG. We will not be back….
