    A bit too dark, I like ambiance but I couldn’t really see the meal very well. Each dish needed a slight extra garnish as a bit too stark. But tasted good it was lacking in the slight extra garnish

    The place is really nice, lovely decor etc. the food was really nice and a fair price for the adults menu, I do feel the children’s menu is overpriced for what it is. We had our three little ones with us and their food and drink came to over £50.

    We were a table of 6 seated furthest away from the kitchen. There was a constant cold breeze coming through from the stairs. Kept coat on throughout meal! Meal itself was lovely but a long wait (over an hr) for it to arrive from ordering. Service was not great.

    Was an ok experience although some specials were not availiable. The food was nice but could have been hotter. The service was OK but servers were friendly. There was long waits between courses

    Sunday Lunch (Beef) was excellent. The meat was cooked to perfection and so tender. All the trimmings were freshly cooked and tasty. Would definitely recommend 👌

    Love the Longstore, we have introduced several friends and they love it too. Food excellent, service very good, and priced right. We had to ask to move tables as the real fire was roaring which definitely added to the ambience but was too hot to sit near, but staff were good snd moved us straight away. Will definitely visit again & again

    We always try to have dinner at The Longstore when we are in Charlestown. The food is excellent and for the quality excellent value. Our server on our visit on Valetine's night was very good, very pleasant with just the right level of interaction. We have never disappointed with any of our visits to the Longstore and therefore are happy to recommend.

    Had to read the menu by the torchlight on the phone as the venue lighting was very dark and subdued. Service was appallingly slow and laboured - an hour and three quarters and we didn't have time for coffee, just a main and a dessert. Errors on the bill overcharging us and no apology. There are better restaurants within walking distance. For the prices charged it was a let down.
