    I took my mum for a Mother’s Day roast and I can’t really fault it, the veg was more cooked than I would normally like but that’s personal preference, nevertheless it was delicious, my mum even had a free gin and tonic, would highly recommend.

    It was my first time visiting a longstore restaurant & I HIGHLY recommend! We had steak & the pork belly ribs & oh my gosh! It was lush food! Thank you longstore! We will be back for sure!🫶🏽

    We had an early pre-event sitting at 6pm, service was quick and friendly, food was excellent. Looking forward to our next visit :-)

    Lovely steaks. We each had them cooked differently: rare, medium rare and medium. They all came out perfect in each case. However, the food went cold very quickly and the plates weren't very hot at all. It would have been nice to have had some proper chips as opposed to the wedges we were given. The chips were meant to be tripled cooked, but they weren't particularly crispy due to them still being in their skins. The salad which came with the meat wasn't very generous; it was just a bit of cress, some onion, which was a bit tough, and a small shrivelled up tomato. The music choice was terrible, not suitable for dining and a bit distracting.

    I went with a friend for her birthday for Sunday lunch. We had the crackling pork belly although there wasn't any crackling, just fat. Plenty of meat and vegetables so couldn't fault the portion sizes. It was a shame the cauliflower cheese was smothered in a mustard sauce. Why? Call it cauliflower mustard cheese for those who don't like mustard ( both of us). The waitress was efficient and friendly and as it was a birthday celebration we had a complimentary drink. Nice touch. We will be back.
