   The Lord Nelson is iconic with the finest beer and spirits selection anyone could experience. The atmosphere is classic "pub" ........ noisy, energetic but beautiful with excellent quick service. The food however isn't the best value, its ok but a bit below what it could be for the price. It won't stop me being a regular though!

   Zara, our waitress was helpful an friendly. The food was delicious and the wines were worth drinking. We enjoyed the whole experience.

   we made a booking via the website for 4 people as we had friends from WA visiting with MS so requested a table by the window in the bar area so the full atmosphere could be experienced. On arrival, the staff knew the booking, giving us a great table with easy access. They were Brilliant, very helpful and we enjoyed a lovely lunch catching up in a friendly welcoming atmosphere. Many thanks to all the staff for giving us all a memorable day...

   Fabulous experience- celebrating 60 th birthday- felt spoilt and well looked after - able to chat to our friends and truly catch up. Our service was faultless! The food and wine was impeccable.

   Ambiens has a wonderful atmosphere, and my husband loves their beers. We always have a great time there and highly recommend it to overseas visitors. The food is simple yet delicious, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy.

   Good night. Good table - I had friends from overseas and they complimented the table we were assigned. Freshly brewed beer itself is a reason to come. Food is a cut above the usual pub food. A good mix of locals and visitors. My go to place for a catch up.

   We enjoyed our lunch time get together with friends at The Lord Nelson Brewery Hotel. The atmosphere was lovely and relaxing. Staff and food were great too. I highly recommend visiting, even if it's just for drinks.

   We very much enjoyed the blue swimming crab with spaghetti!! We've been on the Cunard Queen Anne for 5 weeks, in the "la ti da" Princess Grille dining room, and the Lord Nelson dish was better than most of our meals on board!!! We did not know we needed to order at the bar...it would have been nice if the person who seated us had mentioned the fact. Noise is expected in a pub, so asking about the noise level is not really fair.

    Never disappoints! We had our 1 year anniversary there last night (we were married in the restaurant upstairs last year) and it was perfect. We had a nice quiet table off to the side. Our meal was delicious. My husband had the special - Beef Vindaloo and I had the veg curry (my favourite). It was a lovely evening. The Lord Nelson has a special place in our hearts.
