Lost Fire was one of the best dining experiences we've had. From the moment we walked in we felt warm and welcomed. The host whom walked us to our table was very cordial and briefly told what we may need to know about the restaurant. Our waiter was outstanding, very aware of our presence and anticipated our needs perfectly. The food was perfectly cooked and wonderful. The appetizer, main course and dessert perfectly timed. This was a dining experience to be remembered and will be recommended to others.

My piece of swordfish was small & thin, drowned in unpleasant sauce of too many capers & black olives. In my experience, swordfish is usually thick cut, lightly cooked to allow taste of fish to be enjoyed.

This past visit was one of many times of going to the Loat Fire for dinner. I made a reservations weeks before to plan accordingly, we had a table right in front of the open kitchen @ 5:30pm We were seated in time, the service was wonderful by a waitress that was knowledgeable and also knew how to upsell menu items. We ordered a variety of item to share around the table instead of ordering our own dinners . We had more than enough food. We ordered multiple bottles of wine , desserts and after dinner drink. Every thing was delicious. The one thing I did not think was appropriate was we were asked to leave because if another reservation . Usually the customer is allowed to stay to enjoy the evening over food and conversations. A bold waiter came over to our table to ask us to leave ! We left when asked too , but it has left a bad taste in my mouth .

We were in Kennebunkport for the XMAS prelude. One of the best meals we had. The empanadas are a must order. The skirt steak was delicious and so tender . Burger was outstanding also.
