   Our experience was mixed. The waitstaff was wonderful, attentive, friendly and professional. The food was served very quickly with very little wait time. The quality of the steak however, was disappointing. We had a t bone steak that contained so much fat and gristle that it was hard to find anything edible, despite the size of the steak. The side of potatoes was barely edible by me and my companion so we left those. I’m sorry to write this review but considering the price of the meal, we expected a delicious experience, but were disappointed.

   Gina and Mark Marcus feel like family! They were knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. The food was great as always! This is one of our favorite places to eat when we are in Kennebunkport.

   The food is always very good at LF...the wait staff are always exceptional. We do find that the food is a bit pricey for portion size, however, it's worth the price if you are celebrating a special occasion. Never a bad experience.

    The Lost Fire is not only a culinary experience but it is also a warm, inviting home away from home. It is also at the next level of service so it deserves more than 5 stars. We are long time fans and frequent returning customers because it is that special. It is our #1 restaurant.
