Since this was my birthday, I wanted to have dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in the Kennebunks. Knowing full well they would not disappoint. As expected, dinner was fantastic. The bar service team is always amazing. If you go, make reservations well ahead and try the Heart of Palm salad. Outstanding.

This was our second visit to The Lost Fire, and it might have been even better than the first. Everyone who works there was so friendly and made us feel like we were their priority even though there were other people in the restaurant. The food was excellent (especially the Argentinian sausage!) and their Christmas decor made an already beautifully-designed space feel even more cozy and elegant. We were also seated at the table next to the Christmas tree, which was a real treat and made us feel as though we were truly valued by the staff. Eating at The Lost Fire is truly an experience and I am looking forward to returning.

The Lost Fire used to be my favorite spot. I was really disappointed this time. First, we arrived at 4:30 , early , lots of tables , I asked for a booth And was told they were committed. Not one booth had customers during our entire meal. They don’t allow you to order appetizers prior to ordering your whole meal. Food was ok, just not superior. I won’t be back for awhile.
