   The waiter and bartender did not feel like they wanted to be there. Drinks were not consistently made. They had free cheesecake which was nice, but it was pretty dry.

   We had a great time. Not a lot of Christmas decor, but the drinks and pretzel were great. Service was outstanding. So friendly and nice. Will be back.

   We made a reservation for the holiday pop up. The app told us there was only one reservation left of the night but when we arrived, we were one of only two parties there the whole time? The drinks were really great, although pretty pricey. The menu was rather limited (only 3 items) but overall the service was great.

   Great cocktails, but limited menu (and quite expensive). Salmon crostinis were small and simple… Would love some sort of pass phrase or “special order” to hint your permit. A nice bar area, but one visit is all I would make the drive for.

   We 3 ladies in our 70’s found the speak-easy intriguing. The ambiance was perfect. Food and beverages great! Our server was mist helpful especially when one of us preferred a mock tail. My mother actually took a risk during prohibition and went to a few speak-easies in the 1930’s. She was an upstanding elementary school teacher. When she was in her 90’s she confessed her antics to me. I toasted mom at Maintenance Room last night. Actually the whole industrial building is worth seeing, inside and out.

   One of the coolest vibes and atmospheres in KC. Been to several Speakeasy’s around KC and this is as good or better than most. Nice because it’s on the west side and didn’t have to go downtown. Highly recommend. Drinks amazing.

   Drinks are fantastic, expensive though. $12 & $14 so we only had the one. They were fancy though lol Pretzel was great! Salmon & capers crustini was very nice! So I would probably only go here once to check it out, in my opinion. Too expensive for a regular place, especially in Bonner, sadly. It IS a basement, so beware of that, but definitely cooler on a 100+ degree night! Wish there was music on Sat night, not just Thurs nights. Wish them luck though! It just may be too fancy for the location, there's a bit of a dress code, though the people that came in after us were in shorts & t-shirts lol

   My wife and I had a great date night at The Maintenance Room! The ambiance of the room is great and flows well with the whole building. Adam and Krista were great from just conversation to the general knowledge of the ins and out of not only The Maintenance Room but the whole building! Highly recommend visiting and we will be going back for sure!

    The building owner and his friends do not know what a speak easy is. They drowned out the jazz musician with loud , belligerent, obnoxious laughing that was suited for a biker bar not a speak easy. They really need to figure out how to create the atmosphere that is conducive to a speak easy. We had 11 people and multiple guests that we were introducing to the speak easy. None of them will ever go back. I was was completely embarrassed and frustrated that and owner and his buddies couldn’t control or contain themselves.
