   We booked quite last minute for Mother’s Day and despite being fully booked, they managed to create and area for my family and our dogs. The whole team went above and beyond and the service on the day was fantastic

   Our first trip for a family birthday. As a coeliac and needing gluten free, was really lovely to be able to have a choice from the menu. Everybody’s meals were delicious. We will be going back. Waiting staff lovely too.

   The sliding door between the bar and the restaurant looks like a temporary fix. Staff were lovely and very helpful. Choice and quality excellent, could have been a bit hotter

   A great pub. Always excellent food and service and defined areas depending on your mood. Restaurant if you want a nice meal, bar area if you fancy a drink and natter, games area if you want an activity and a large garden. We love coming here!

   Great Sunday roast and great staff. Especially thanks to the welcoming staff who helped us to find a table for 3 as we made a mistake by booking only for 2. Highly recommend the place.

   We ate at The Malthouse on Sunday 9th March 2025 and had the small plate Roast Beef and the Triple Roast and both were great. We also shared the Chocolate Brownie with some Sorbet and again both were great. Generous portions and great value for money. It was so nice to see Marie back, she will be a great asset to your business as she is so welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back.

    Quite possibly the worst dining experience for a family. Staff were rude, miss sold meals. The children’s meal (ragu) was so salty, that my child couldn’t eat it. I raised this and it was completely dismissed by the waitress with the blonde hair. I can’t recommend avoiding this pub enough. New staff is one thing, but there is no excuse for rude staff and poor quality food. They should have refunded our meals
