   Arrived slightly early for our booking to be told there was a large 12 party in front of us and there would be a delay--why take the booking then?? It was 20 mins before they came to take the wine order, another delay before they brought it ( how long does it take to get a bottle out the fridge and bring 2 glasses over) when approached about ordering food we were told there would be a long delay and we should consider having a starter. At this point I had had enough and said what i thought of the situation, I/we were then told that there had been no gas and everything was backed up, steaks ordered and again told there would be a significant delay, I did say that were local and that I was about to get up and go, to which we were offered complimentary starters, These were accepted and we waited, very nice. Mains duly arrived and again were very nice. The so called garden room didn't even have a plant and totally lacked any atmosphere........... On receiving the bill they highlighted the service charge and said this didn't have to be paid........wait a minute another bill with no service charge!!! To be told they were so busy but that there were still 12 covers available in our room...... Wine -well a £30 bottle of PG was nice but same bottle available at £11. This I probably wouldn't have mentioned but the whole evening to celebrate the completion of a big order was spoilt. We had never been before and will we go back????? If I'm honest I would rather go back to The Elms ( been a few times) or The Baiting House again ( been a few times) or The Bell It would have been better for everybody if they had said there was a problem with the gas when we arrived(if in fact they did have a gas problem) Every day is a learning day

   Lovely relaxing atmosphere.Staff are always very friendly/ professional.They had some new wine in stock and thanks to their suggestion we were able to order a very nice the bottle of Sauvignon. We both ordered the roast beef which was delicious. Thanks once again for a lovely lunch.see you soon

   Our second time at the Manor. The ambience is so welcoming with a fire burning and twinkle lights with candles all around. The staff are very friendly and pleasant. Every dish we have had, the flavours have been wonderful and the quality of the food is perfect.

   We arrived early were greeted with a warm welcome by Katie who looked after our every need, the food and service was impeccable and would highly recommend the inn to anyone considering a value for money and excellent service establishment Presentation was superb and tasty made very special by Katie Thank you David and friends

   A beautiful location, graced by smooth, efficient and great service from the staff. The food was excellent and well presented. It would be difficult and very picky to find fault.

   First visit to The Manor Arms, and will definitely be going again. Had a most enjoyable Sunday lunch and glass of wine. The staff very friendly and polite. The food amazing.
