    The full experience was perfect. The food is cooked to perfection and well presented. The staff are warm and welcoming. We left and tip a spoke to a member of staff to express our praise. Well done, this made our day

    Having been to many local restaurants for Sunday lunch. This was by far the best. As a party of 3 , one had Turkey and two had the combined beef and pork. The meals came with Cauliflower cheese and we ordered pigs in blankets and brussel sprouts. All the food was cooked really well. A really good quality , value for money lunch

    My wife and I had a very enjoyable evening at The Marquis of Granby. After a very warm welcome and service by delightful people, our food was well presented and delicious. In short, I cannot fault it in any way and definitely plan to return. Very many thanks to all concerned for their efforts to make this such a pleasant experience.

    Ambience and location fabulous. Food was good. Unfortunately for us a new menu was being introduced and the time taken to be served (1 hour for starters and 1.5 hours for mains) did tarnish the experience. I will go back again as food was good and staff were very apologetic and offered some compensation. I hope this was a one off experience, but seeing customers being served their food who arrived and ordered well after you is also very frustrating.

    The Sunday roast was one of the best I’ve had. Perfect execution of old favourites. Great service and nice ambience.
