   The food and cocktails were excellent, but the ambience was not great. It was SO loud in the restaurant area with the combination of a lot of people and super loud music. Also, our waitress was almost too attentive, it made it feel like she was rushing us out.

   Enjoyable experience in a Bourbon Bungalow! Attentive and engaging server. Everyone had a different entree and all were very good.

   Even with a reservation there was a 10 minute wait for a table. Nobody offered us crayons and a coloring page so I picked one up from the hostess stand myself. No silverware until about 5 minutes AFTER we get the appetizer. Good food and a beautiful place. Service issues may have been due to a Friday evening reservation

   We had a delicious dinner with friends on a Saturday night. The maple glazed salmon was very sweet but delicious and unique combo with sweet potatoes and spinach. The pork tenderloin was huge and yummy with gravy on top. The Parmesan chicken was tasty too. Our server was friendly, helpful and all orders were accurate. Hadn’t been there in a while but plan to go back given the good food & service we enjoyed.

   We enjoyed the food and the drinks! The service was a bit slow in the beginning but then picked up. We went with our toddler and school aged kiddo and it wasn’t too long to where there were meltdowns. We will definitely be back!

   We have been to the Mash House several times for meals, ordering items from both lunch and dinner menus. We find only a few offerings above average; most are prepared with unusual ingredients and not to our liking. Even the house cocktails are mixed with nontraditional flavorings, which we just don’t enjoy. Others might find the food and drinks more to their liking. The noise level is mostly moderate, however, once we dined with a musician present; the music was enjoyable but too loud to carry on a dinner conversation. The servers have been most notable part of our dining experience, with each being pleasant and attentive. Overall, it’s a new, trendy place with several areas for dining, gathering, and sampling whiskey. It will not be our first choice for eating out, but most likely, we will stop in now and then.

   Host area seemed unorganized. They were not sure where to sit people. They sat our party upstairs. I thought it was odd they didn’t even ask if we were OK with using stairs. Beer wasn’t served very cold. When my food was served part of the dish was cold. Waitress was not very friendly. I had a higher expectation from this restaurant. I will likely not return.

   Good time and good food and drinks. Really enjoyed time with our table of 8 that Brandon served very nicely. Thanks. Tour was terrific too.

   I wish they wouldn’t have capitalized on Valentine’s Day. They should have served original menu. They were 75$ per person for a prefixed menu. It looked good on paper but was not good on the pallet. Drinks also were mediocre. My bf and I stopped here one Sunday afternoon for the happy hour..drinks and service were great. We booked it for Valentine’s Day as a double date a week in advance..so we had limited restaurants to chose from but wanted to be casual. The restaurant called the day before told me about the menu for Valentine’s Day and the 75$ per person. I sent it to the other couple we were with we all agreed it looked good. our waiter mentioned several times the restaurant closes at 9p when we had reservations for 7:30p. Mind you it was a 4 course menu and he would only let us order one course at a time. So it made it take longer and when my friend asked for a hot coffee drink he said we close at 9 so they probably have poured all the hot drinks out by now. We hadn’t even gotten our main course yet. Nice place to stop for lunch and happy hour.

    We made reservations for our first visit on Valentine’s Day. They had a special menu which we knew before going and it was $75 per person. We opted to also do their drink package where we got a different wine or whiskey with each course and it was $25 each. We should have just ordered the drinks we wanted as these were very small pours for the amount of money it cost. We would have paid less to get full drinks. My husband enjoyed his meal, but I can’t say I enjoyed mine. The lobster bisque was more watery and tasted like butter as opposed to a creamy bisque. The lobster in it was cooked very well. For my main course I ordered the lobster and it came on top of pasta with short ribs. It did not taste good together, so I just ate the lobster pieces and then tried the pasta, but it seemed very pasty and not very good. My husband ordered the steak with shrimp and he said it was good but he did not care for the sauce they used. All in it cost us about $270 for a very mediocre meal. The dessert was either a red velvet or chocolate cupcake and we thought we would have our choice but instead they brought one plate with one of each so we had to pick one. They did not give us dessert plates to put them on nor did we have silverware, so we had to eat them with our hands. The staff was very friendly, and checked on us often, but I don’t think we’ll be back.
