   Very unique dining experience but was not really a fan of any of the cheese fondue but my wife loved it so that’s what matters! The filet was amazing but I wish I could order it without rosemary rub which was overpowering. The s’mores fondue was incredible!

   We booked a reservation for two on a Friday night for our anniversary. We had passed by the restaurant for years and finally decided to try! Shelia at the hostess booth was warm and welcoming and got us seated at a cozy table away from everyone for our romantic evening. Delia, our server, took exceptional care of us. She offered very helpful insight to our order to make sure we were ordering things that complimented one another and helped so we didn’t order too much! Food was so nostalgic and good, everything we ordered was perfect. They were even sweet enough to bring us out a small dessert plate and two glasses of bubbly for our special night. We can’t wait to come back with friends !

   Great wine selections, cozy atmosphere. The traditional cheese fondue was excellent, but make sure to ask for extra pickled veggies. The meat course was over-seasoned with some herb rub yet under-salted. The sauces were also very herby. However, the meat itself was high quality with almost no gristle at all.

   My wife (who grew up in Switzerland) and I have been going to the Matterhorn for over 20 years. It closed down during Covid but is under new ownership now and we found it still an awesome experience. If you’re looking for Swiss cuisine this is the spot for you!!

   Cute wooden decors reminds me of a ski lounge. Service was great! It was my first time going to a fondue restaurant- so we asked the server to explain the various types of fondue. We started offf with the “Hot Stuff”- & the “Moitie-Moitie”. Both were excellent! I personally enjoyed the bit of kick from the Hot Stuff! The fondue comes with bread and pickled veggies to dip, but we also ordered a side of pretzels and some hot links- (I wanted to try to reindeer sausage but the were out for the day) Our table ordered a few rounds of beer/ cider- NOTE: this restaurant doesn’t not sell liquor. Nonetheless, the ciders were delicious To finish us off- we ordered the dessert fondues! Over all it was a great experience- perfect for date night, a casual evening, or unique place to bring parents / in-laws!

   The Matterhorn has been a family tradition for years. Who doesn't love melted cheese and great service. It's like stepping off the streets of San Francisvo and into the Alps. The new decor is done cute but tasteful and the Gondola table is romantic and memorable. Fun, kitchy, delicious and cozy.

    very cute and looks traditional swiss! menu is limited but food was great. i have had better fondue in the bay area though
