   Myself and my partner had a date night here. It was midweek so the restaurant was not busy at all. All the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. A bit pricey but very nice. We will definitely return.

   The service is always very good and very attentive. Food was also very good cannot fault. Plenty of choice. Only issue was there was a cold draught every so often even when the door was shut. We also felt the cold when the door was opened. This would not stop us from visiting again.

   Eaten here dozens of times with five star ratings every time. Last night wasn’t as good as it was very cold in there and the service was (this may sound strange) too fast re what we wanted, checking the bill etc. then too slow on drinks refresh when only I was asked if I wanted a drink because my glass was empty and the other three had some left in theirs. Also need to sort the toilet out. Whilst it’s clean, the poor decorating really lets the establishment down as it’s beautiful in the restaurant area itself. Would I go back, yes certainly. But when the heating is on next time

   Amazing experience. Went there on a date and the staff really made us feel welcome and weren't overbearing. The food was outstanding and just so fresh. We didn't wait long either, although it was a quiet night. Great selection of wine and food in general. Great place for a meal out with friends, date or with the family. Very nice atmosphere, which at times, I find hard to come by in Basingstoke.

   Not my first time, but my partner's first and he was happy with everything: the food, the service, the ambience... He would like to go back to try the seafood menu :-) My son and his gf recommended the special mixed platter for 4 for the main course. Succulent and tasty! We added the Greek salad, garlic mushrooms, humus kavurna and babaganoush. Perfect blend. For dessert, Turkish coffee for me (always), Turkish tea for my son, cheesecake (lighter than most, ie not so creamy or cheesy), and baklava. Delicious! Oh yes, cocktail for 2 as well:) As a repeat customer, I can say that Meldiz is consistent with their quality of food and service.

   The food was amazing and all very fresh, the portion sizes were just right. The staff were very attentive and very pleasant. Overall I would say that the restaurant has nailed it when it comes to service.
