We chose the Melting Pot in Louisville as a date night experience during Restaurant Week. The ambiance and atmostphere of the restaurant was relaxing and spacious. The staff was kind, attentive and knew their jobs. Unfortunately, our waitress clearly had a cold, so we hope we also don't get sick. The 3-course meal deal was $45/pp. There was plenty of food, but it was disappointingly bland. Our total tab before the tip, including us each having two drinks during dinner was $160.00. We had an enjoyable evening, but the food was definitely not worth that price.

The food, service and ambience were exceptional. However the seats were very uncomfortable and tight. My son and I were seated at a two top in the corner. If I had to be seated there again, I wouldn't go!
