Serving up New American Tavern Cuisine in our two-floor full-service restaurant and bar, equipped with two 50-seat bars, world-inspired snacks and entrees, brick pizza oven, private event space, and an open rooftop patio that offers views of downtown Worcester and City Square. Located next to the DCU Center and minutes from Polar Park, we’re a natural choice pre and post-game.

*Due to limited patio seating, we do not take reservations for our patio. Please note the patio request in your reservation, or ask upon arrival, and we will do our best to accommodate.

**The rooftop is open Wednesday-Friday 4 PM - close. Saturday & Sunday 12 PM - close.

***Public parking is available at The Mercantile Center Garage with direct access to the restaurant on Level 3A.

    This was our second trip to The Mercantile. We went back specifically for the nachos. So delicious and a large portion! Great service as well.

    The Buffalo mac and cheese was very good. Rich and cheesy. The Bianca pizza was great. It came out nice and hot.

    The mercantile is usually a fantastic restaurant overall with attentive service, a great atmosphere, and good food, today was a different situation. The waitress only appeared 3 times in 2 hours and we saw multiple different waitresses including even the manager. The waitress was rude, the service was slow and we were overcharged. We sat down for 25 mins until the waitress arrived to gibe us water. When we overcharged we tried to politely argue, and she claimed she was correct. I was charged for a 3rd meal for my extra chicken as opposed to the waitress simply adding the chicken onto the existing ticket.

    The turkey BLT was so so good. We also enjoyed the pretzels, shrimp, but weren’t impressed with the smash burger. Overall a good meal and experience
