Food was good and staff very friendly. The restaurant is primarily a sports bar and many games were on.

Very cool classic look of a refurbished warehouse. Large bar and ample seating with multiple levels. Good service and good food but nothing overly special. The far end of the first floor should be redesigned to give the same feel as the main area, you lose the cool when you are pushed all the way to the end.

We love the ambience, food, and service at The Mercantile. Last night did not start out as the greatest experience though. We had a 5:00 reservation for 4 adults and were seated at a very tiny table in the bar area, while other parties of 2 were seated at much larger tables. Perhaps it's because I specified a standard table as opposed to a high top when making the reservation. These little tables/booths along the wall should only be for 2 or 3 people, not 4. It was very tight so we asked to be moved once the waitress came to greet us, which was a while after we arrived. We were able to be moved to a larger table in a different part of the restaurant which was much more comfortable. We did have to ask for silverware when our appetizers arrived and salt when the meal arrived. Other than that, our night was very nice and the food was delicious.

Great first time at the Mercantile! Loved the atmosphere. Food was good and priced well - not at the excessively high-priced level of many similar type restaurants. Staff was very friendly and accommodating and the atmosphere was lively. We would definitely go back to dine there again when in Worcester!

Fun place with a lively crowd of mixed ages. TVs with variety of sporting events. Industrial decor and mix of seating options, including ability to make larger tables. Service was excellent. Food could have used more seasoning and no salt or pepper on the tables..also out of Sweet and Low. Extremely convenient to local events, like DCU Center, and to parking which is attached to building. Parking was $15.00.

Food and experience were both excellent. The only reason I give it a 4 instead of a 5 is that somehow my request for a chocolate fondue was missed. I thought I had ordered it but the restaurant had no record of it. It was disappointing to not have desert. But everything else was excellent!

I’ve been here a bunch of times and i think it just gets worse and worse. Waited 45+ minutes for my reservation, they gave us a free tower which was super nice but just not the vibe anymore.
