The Metro Wine Bar & Bistro has been at the cutting edge of food and wine in Oklahoma City for over thirty years. While always evolving and changing, the one constant at The Metro is the world-class food, service and a focus on fine wines paired with our wonderful cuisine.

Drop by for a glass of wine and an appetizer at the bar... or come to spend an evening of great dining. We can be as casual or as formal as the occasion demands.

We are open for dinner Monday through Saturday... and every weekday for lunch. We are open all afternoon on weekdays for a late lunch, early dinner or just wine & cocktails.

                                                                              This place is a great staple for an all around delicious meal, friendly and knowledgeable servers and nice ambiance. The only slight problem was we didn’t dress warm enough. We sat right under the air conditioner. Cooled off the food a bit and made me wish I’d brought a sweater. We’ll know how to dress next time. Super place.

                                                                              The house salad was scrumptious as was the pear, stlton cheese and walnut salad. The quail was spectacular, and the vegetarian chickpea fritters (pleasing texture) tasty with a delightfully zippy sauce. All items arranged artistically on plate…miniature works of art. Our waiter was professional, knowledgeable, friendly…great! Restaurant has a classical, elegant ambiance.

                                                                              From the moment we walked in for our reservation, we were delighted with our experience. We celebrated my best friend's birthday and Jim our waiter did an impeccable job taking care of us. The beef filets were grilled to perfection and we both agreed that these were the best we ever had; the green beans and potatoes were fresh and lovely. The beat salad and house salads were excellent and our cocktails and wine selections were spot on. Best vodka martini in town. Finished it off with brandy ice. Also the best in town!

                                                                              I had lunch here with a friend. I had small spinach salad with salmon and my friend had a charcuterie appetizer. I thought the salad was exactly the right size and my friend took food home with her. The staff are welcoming, experienced, and attentive. The restaurant is arranged into two levels and both feel comfortable, not too large or noisy but intimate and cozy. It is one of my favorite restaurants!
