The Modern Bar is open daily with reservation-only dining for groups of up to 6 people. Drink service begins at 4pm. The kitchen will take orders starting at 5pm. Please be aware if you make a reservation that begins between 4-4:45pm or 10-10:30pm, food is only available to order between 5-10pm.

For the safety of our guests and staff, we are using a secure contact-less ordering & payment system. The system is called Hey Porter and there is no need to download an app. You just need a smartphone (2017 or newer). Been staying at The Modern for several years as I traveled through Idaho. Good food, pleasant ambiance and cordial staff always assured. The Modern needs a facelift. Mattresses are like hammocks. The stained wood on the facade of the hotel is in need of a re-do. My wife and I stayed on the ground floor. All night heard people walking around in the room over head. Has The Modern explores carpeting? If so, the need to look at the flooring.

Great, clean and modern motel with the best food you Dan imagine. The drinks are even better. The staff are great - so friendly.
