   Our server Sharon (I think?) was really personable and knowledgeable about the menu- she seemed to have something positive, informative, and insightful to add about each item on the menu.

   Always a treat! I find The Mooring to be one of the best in the group. They pay attention to the little details which I find important-nice glassware and serveware, French Press coffee pot per person, great cocktails, wine and beer offerings and interesting menu options. The service is great. The atmosphere is lively and the food is top notch. It doesn't get any better.

   Beautiful setting on the water but incredibly crowded and noisy. Service excellent. Good very good but not great and some peculiar combinations (beet hummus with tuna?).

   The food, service, and atmosphere were excellent. I ordered the seafood pasta, and added the lobster tail for $26. That ended up being a disappointment, though, because the tail was tiny, only about 3 small bites. It was also dry and overcooked. So I won’t do that again. But the rest was great.

   We sat in the outdoor section in the far corner. They were training someone so they came over to that area to talk ( i believe there was a station over there with a computer) which became a distraction for us trying to have a nice quiet dinner together. Otherwise it was good...

   Accommodating staff. Nice decor. Would love to come back in warm weather and sit outside. Loved the spinach salad with salmon addition.

   Repeat customers. My wife and I have returned to Newport several times over the years since I graduated from the naval War College in 2004 and have enjoyed a great meal at The Mooring each time. Yesterday was no exception. Great food in a comfy, nautical environment and our server Jessica W. was exceptional. We will be back!
