    We had a wonderful meal at The Mooring. We were initially seated right next to the kitchen and it was noisy and a bit chaotic so we asked to move and they graciously seated us in a much quieter area. Food was fabulous. The giant biscuit appetizer was AMAZING! I highly recommend trying it. Bouillabaisse, crab toast, clam chowder & the lobster roll were all excellent!

    The waitstaff go above and beyond at The Mooring! The food is delicious and the atmosphere is perfect ! A must visit when in Newport!

    Great service, great food, delicious drinks. Allergy conscious! My daughter has a severe tree nut allergy so eating out safely is tough. Our server confirmed her allergy as soon as we sat down and the kitchen was very careful with all items we ordered. A wonderful experience for us. We will definitely be going back!

    Fantastic food and outstanding service. We had the oysters, lobster fritters, seafood pasta, scallops, and cheesecake and every bite was heaven!

    We had a wonderful meal and an excellent server, Lisa. She made fabulous recommendations on food and wine. Everything was perfect start to finish! We will definitely be going back.

    It’s a great restaurant. The food is delicious, and the views are amazing. Our server Lexi was phenomenal. Kind and suggestive without being pushy. She was great.

    We celebrated our son’s graduation from naval chaplaincy school here. Everything was wonderful! Our server was so friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. We had a corner table with a great view of the water. There were quite a few other groups in our area, so the noise level did rise a bit, but we could still have comfortable conversation. At the end of our meal, our server brought a card to our son, signed by the staff, congratulating him on his accomplishment! I definitely recommend The Mooring for any occasion!

    The food and the service was excellent. We started with oysters Rockefeller and the lobster and shrimp fritters. Then some clam chowder and our main course was the bake stuffed lobster. All delicious.
