The Morris is a new restaurant and bar in a truly unique location. It’s connected to a boutique, 17 room colonial hotel and courtyard located right next to Washington Square Park. We have a scratch kitchen that only uses the freshest ingredients available by season. Our bar program consists of delicious hand-crafted cocktails, organic wines, selection of local beers, and spirit-free beverages. Whether it's for a casual night out, business dinner, or date night, we are so excited to serve you in our newly renovate dining room or in the garden courtyard*!

*We want to inform our guests that the courtyard is fully tented and heated throughout the winter!

My sister and I had a delicious meal from The Morris's Restaurant Week menu. The staff were wonderful and went out of their way to make our dining experience great. Grace our server was patient with us while we took our time deciding on the best choices. A special thank you to Hannah for storing our coats for us as we were seated at a small table. My sister and I both highly recommend The Morris for a fabulous dining experience.

Honestly I didnt have super high expectations. It was restaurant week in Philly and I figured it would be good but not great. I was wrong. It was more than great! The server, Clarence was top notch. Super pleasant, informative and timely…the three things we look for in an excellent server. He really went beyond the call of duty. One of our guests was a strict vegan and Clarence made sure the kitchen was aware and as a result, our friend was thoroughly taken care of in regards to his dietary requirements as a vegan diner. All the food was superb. Far better than we anticipated. Portions, for restaurant week, were very adequate. Cold food was cold and hot was hot. Food wasn’t crazy stuff but damn, it was all great!! Drinks great too. It was all great!!! Definitely will return……

Service was great but food was only so so. It was hit or miss. The butternut squash was delicious as well as the pork roulade but the rest wasn't that great. Gnocchi was too airy. Had the consistency of wet packing peanuts.

This was my second experience dining at The Morris. We participated in Restaurant Week and the menu had a lot of great options, and four courses! The mushroom soup was really delicious and I had the rabbit pot pie. The portion was very generous - I had to bring most of it home! Also, the specialty cocktails were amazing and it was nice to have the flight option to taste them both. The service was very pleasant and charming as well. Looking forward to my next dining experience!

Service was amazing!!! I don’t recall her name but she was great. Ambience was ok the heater was right next to our outdoor (tent) and it was really hot. Our waitress did try to move it, and open the tent a bit but it still was hot (aF) Food was great !!! Mimosas sale buy a bottle get one free was awesome!!!! Will definitely be back!!!!
